- The mission of the McMinnville Warren County
Senior Center, Inc. is to promote and maintain independence,
wellness and advocacy for adults 50 plus, their families and
caregivers.
- Services are available for persons age 55+.
- Programs sponsored in whole or in part by the
Administration on Aging, Tennessee Commission on Aging & Disability, &
Upper Cumberland Area Agency on Aging & Disability. A United Way
Agency.

NEW - Warren County Vets
The Warren County Senior Center is putting together a
book featuring Warren County veterans of World War I & II, and is asking
veterans, or family members of veterans, to supply information and
photographs for the project. Photograph of the veteran in his or her
uniform if at all possible, though any photo will be taken.
The book is being produced as part of the Warren County Bicentennial
Celebration.
The Senior Center is requesting anybody who was born in Warren County,
or lived in Warren County for a significant portion of their lives, to
provide this information for inclusion in the Veteran's Book.
Once published, the book will be available for purchase.

There is no charge for these services, however, donations are
accepted. This program is to help rural elderly live independently with
dignity and pride by offering the following services in the McMinnville,

CARES

| Goal
The goal of Faith In Action CARES is to develop a
county-wide volunteer base to serve elderly or disabled
persons needing in-home services. The purpose of our
program is to help low income, minority, rural,
handicapped / frail, & isolated elder and disabled
persons. |
Mission
Statement To improve the quality of life for
individuals with long-term health needs, including the
elderly and disabled, to guard against feelings of
isolation by helping them live independently with
dignity in their own homes for as long as possible. |
This is a new
service offered in Warren County.
We are in need of volunteers willing to work 3 to 4
hours per month. |
